RULES AND REGULATIONS - STALLS Please read the following rules and regulations before registration.
All stalls/booths/tents must meet the approved standards of the Fish Festival Committee.
All stalls/booths/tents must be erected by Thursday, April 1, 2010 (if not in the Oistins Fish Market).
The deadline for paying for a stall is Friday 19 March, 2010.
All stall holders who require licenses or health certificates must apply to the Police and Health Centre no later than Monday March 22, 2010.
The Committee will only supply electricity with a power supply (115 volts) for lighting. If voltage is more than specified or 230 volts, the stall owner must supply their own generator.
Stereo equipment used in stalls/booths/tents etc must not exceed 75 watts per channel. All persons operating Hi-Fi systems must have a permit from the Police to do so.
The stall price will be BD$300.00 for individual stalls and BD$600-$1, 000.00 for Corporate Entity Stalls.
All permits, health certificates, liquor and OFF' 2010 licenses must be prominently displayed on stalls/booths.
All liquor licenses must be submitted to the Commissioner of Police only on the presentation of official payment receipt from the Oistins Fish Festival Committee.
tall owners are advised that all beverages MUST be served in plastic/paper cups.
All music and other activities must commence at the stipulated time to be announced.
THERE MUST BE NO PLAYING OF MUSIC DURING THE OPENING CEREMONY TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, 3 APRIL 2010 BETWEEN 4:30 P.M. AND 5:30 P.M.
Final confirmation and acceptance of stall space is conditional on the total payment of the stall fee.
A stall owners meeting will be held on Saturday 27 March, 2010 at the Randall Phillips Polyclinic, Oistins, Christ Church at 10.00 a.m. Stall holders must attend or send a representative.
The Oistins Fish Festival committee reserves the right to:
refuse any application and
withdraw at any time the permission granted to operate..
Sll stalls/booths/tents MUST be the size paid for. Any alterations as
regards to size other than that paid for will cause the forfeiture of your deposit and/or withdrawal of the space allocated.
ALL stall owners must ensure that they DO NOT inconvenience other stall owners.
.Any stall/booths/tents dealing with food/fire MUST have a 51b extinguisher in the erected stalls.
Failure to comply with the above rules and regulation will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or withdrawal of the space allotted to you.
After a stall has been paid for NO monies will be refunded.
Allocation of space will start on Monday 15 March, 2010 in the Radio Room at the Oistins Boat Yard between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until Friday, March 19, 2010.
No late applications for LIQUOR, HEALTH or MUSIC permits will be accepted.
